Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy explains what personal data uneb.io collects, why, and your choices. It covers visitors to uneb.io, account holders, and people who submit their email through a creator's uneb.io page.

2. Data we collect

From account holders

• Account info: username, email address, and password (stored hashed, so we never see it in plain text).
• Profile content you add: links, images, theme choices, and custom domain.
• Payment: processed by Stripe. We receive a payment confirmation and limited metadata, and we do not store your full card number.
• Usage: basic analytics about your page (for example link clicks) so we can show you your stats.

From visitors to a creator's page

• If a creator enables email capture, and a visitor submits their email, that email is stored as a subscriber of that creator. The creator is the controller of that list, and uneb.io processes it on their behalf.
• Standard technical data (IP address, user agent) for security and aggregate analytics.

Advertising and analytics pixels

• We use, or as we roll out paid advertising may use, Meta Pixel and Google Analytics or Google Ads tags to measure signups and purchases and to improve advertising. When active, these set cookies and share limited event data (for example "viewed page", "signed up", "purchased") with Meta and Google. EU and UK visitors are asked for consent before non-essential cookies load.

3. Why we use data

• To provide and operate your page and account.
• To process your one-time Premium or Verified payment (via Stripe).
• To measure and improve our marketing (via the pixels above).
• To secure the service and prevent abuse.
• To contact you about your account or important service changes.

4. Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us operate: Stripe (payments), Meta and Google (advertising and analytics measurement), and our hosting provider. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Data location

Our infrastructure is hosted in Helsinki, EU. Data may be processed in the regions where our providers operate.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location (for example PIPEDA in Canada, GDPR in the EU and UK), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and may withdraw consent for non-essential cookies. Contact [email protected].

7. Subscribers captured by creators

If you submitted your email to a creator's uneb.io page and want it removed, contact that creator (the list owner). You may also contact us at [email protected] and we will assist in routing your request.

8. Data retention

We keep account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period after, then delete or anonymize it. You can request earlier deletion.

9. Children

uneb.io is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We post the revised version at uneb.io/privacy with a new effective date, and for material changes we take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of uneb.io after an update takes effect means you accept the revised policy. If you do not agree to a change, stop using the service and you may delete your account.
